You need this…. but you don’t know you need it!I gotta say I’m often skeptical of some tools, trinkets, but this changed my mind in 4 board cuts.Why?? Ever cut a 1”x8”x8’ board solo? It’s always a difficult balancing act to keep the board square against the saw fence.What this does it apply positive pressure towards the fence so you can simply guide the board toward through a saw cut. Think about how difficult it is to guide it straight, keep it on the fence without shifting left/right, then pause and renegotiate the board every foot or so with your hands all while trying not to accidentally skew the board and gouge your material or create kickback. If you understand what I just said this is your new best friend. If you don’t care about straight cuts or precision this likely doesn’t matter to you, but it does help with kickback at least. Note how the feathers push against the board as it progresses.(I have no stake in this product and it sat in my cart for about a year until recently, but I believe in sharing knowledge and promoting good ideas for any community.)
Great product probably the best feather board out there, BUT is not a universal fit.Did not fit on my Ryobi 10 inch saw or my Delta 10 inch saw.Product was too long for the decks and hung over the front edge.Possibly not intended for compact saws or portable saws.Did not work for me.Disappointed cause I really like Bow products.
Better than I expected. My old school home made job couldn’t be found for whatever reason. It was always too stiff. Local places did not have anything. This caught my eye to help me make a bunch of shaker doors. At first again was not quite sure as the part that went into the rail was an expanding piece. The feathers were very dense foam which didn’t scare me. Anyways, used and probably never go back. Beautiful doors, made quickly.
This is a big help in controlling your workpiece and preventing kickback using table saws. Easy to use, fitted in the slots in my table perfectly. Quality product
Good featherboard but I'm mainly here to tell people that like most things this will not fit a DeWalt table saw t track since it is larger than normal 3/4 tracks.You need to find t slot bolts with heads larger than 3/4" and smaller than 15/16. The bolt thead and length on these is 5/16" #18 by 1.5" long.I can't post a link but I found some that work at rockler website /t-slot-bolts-pack-of-five-5-16-18-thread. They also come in packs of one for less each.

This thing is an absolutely must have. I love it and will never go without one again, in fact, I'll be buying a couple of the replacement feathers as I love it so much, extremely well made and excellent value, easy to use also. Grips and holds the wood wonderfully, and it's durable, the material is strong, the set up is just about effortless and fast.
I was using a Milescraft feather board, what a complete waste of money. So I purchased this Bow feather board, it's a game changer for me. I will be buying more Bow products from now on.

The FeatherPRO FP1 is a lot better than the homemade feather boards I have used until now. It comes with a miter track guide that fits the miter slot on my Skil TS6301 table saw. This device firmly holds my workpieces against the fence, with the finger portion preventing them from moving backwards. I don't worry about some happening and the fingers breaking off and splintering everywhere. Very pleased with this purchase.
I love this thing and I want to buy more of them, ha! Holds wood snugly along fence and easily adjustable for use on a bandsaw table and a table saw table (these have different feed directions). I do only have one would would recommend two, here's why: Router table applications could use two of these, and you can keep on set up for band saw direction feed, and another for table saw direction feed when not using at the router table. One day, I'm buyin' another one! Huge fan of this thing!
I bought this because it was highly recommended by the YT channel “731 Woodworks”, and I am very glad I did. Very innovative product that is extremely well made. It’s versatile application (table saw and router table) is really convenient. The foam/ rubber feet are extremely grippy, and will definitely help prevent injury due to kickback. Don’t think about it, just get it! My purchase had free returns, but I doubt anyone in their right mind would return one of these once they have it in their hands. It is very robust, and I like that the rubber feet can be replaced down the line if they wear out. This might be my best Amazon purchase for 2025. Absolutely love this product
Works for uses stated. Super easy to use and easy to understand instruction. Built to last with a simple design and durable materials. Grips boards very well to prevent kick back. Safety is priority number one so I don't know why I didnt get one of these sooner.I think the price could maybe be a tad better but I can't put a price on safety

The BOW FP1 featherboard will provide sideways pressure on your tablesaw or router table. The "feathers" are not going to scratch or mark your work. The unique hinge in the feathers provide very stable anti kickback without adding friction to feeding your work. You can adapt the hold downs to T track or miter slot. It uses 5/16-18tpi hardware.
